Our woolen changing mat made of loden is just the thing if you want to place your child on a natural surface while changing.
We used our diaper cover for the water-repellent inside on which you place your child. This is made from pure local, natural virgin wool - wonderfully thin and reliably dense. It naturally contains a small portion of lanolin, so that the changing mat is ready for immediate use.
Only after washing should it be placed in the subsequent lanolin bath in order to restore the wool fat content of the loden and make it sufficiently water-repellent.
The outside is made of the best natural materials. Washed linen is combined with woven fabric made from fine organic cotton. This makes them robust and easy to care for.
The tie cord is also made from organically grown cotton.

Our changing mat is completely plastic-free, natural, sustainable and can be used again and again.
Because it is so thin, it can be rolled up to save space when on the go, despite its generous dimensions.

Wool is naturally self-cleaning and only needs to be washed when it is very dirty. Otherwise, it is sufficient to hang the diaper out in the fresh air if it has become damp.
Since the loden is very robust and can no longer become matted, the diaper can be carefully washed out with a brush if it is heavily soiled.

Colored substances may bleed a little in the lanolin bath.
Please wash and grease separately.

  • Hand wash or washing machine wool program
  • Use wool detergent (washing machine) or lanolin soap when hand washing
  • Do not use harsh detergents or soaps that attack the wool fibers (e.g. gall or curd soap)!
  • After washing, the wool must be greased with lanolin to maintain its water-repellent effect and to care for the wool fibers and keep them supple
  • Spin only up to 600 rpm
  • not suitable for the dryer
  • do not iron
