If your child prefers to have their feet free while sleeping and still want to be wrapped up nice and warm, you're making the right choice with our leg sleeping bag.

It is made in a split cut and therefore does not require any fasteners. You can quickly access the holding diaper by just pulling the leg parts apart. Silent, easy and quick. After stopping, the sleeping bag is quickly closed again and you and your child can continue sleeping.

It's made from warm wool knit and has soft cuffs on the feet. Your child can easily walk with it if they put it on some time before going to bed.

You get the sleeping bag in two versions: with and without arms.

With arms it has a practical raglan cut, which has no shoulder seams and therefore fits very well across several clothing sizes.

In the armless model, the upper part is lined with a fine wool fabric made of merino or wool-silk. Thanks to the coconut buttons, it is adjustable in length and can therefore grow up to three dress sizes.

Sleep in wool:

In the sleeping bag made of wool knit, your baby sleeps in a pleasant body climate. Because just like wool clothing for the day, it supports the heat regulation of the little body. Excess heat and moisture are transported away from the body and can escape to the outside. At the same time, the body can maintain a comfortable temperature while sleeping, which has a positive effect on peaceful and restful sleep.
In the sleeping bag, like under a blanket, a warm layer of air forms around the body, which protects against cooling down. The effect is greater than if your child only wears wool clothing when sleeping, as the distance between the body and the sleeping bag is greater, creating more space for the warm air cushion.

Another advantage of a wool sleeping bag is its water-repellent effect. A care bath in lanolin (wool fat) allows the wool fiber to build up its protective layer and is therefore extremely moisture-resistant. So if a little pee goes wrong, you can quickly vacuum it up with a small cloth without the sleeping bag getting noticeably wet. Airing it out in fresh air the next morning removes unpleasant odors and makes the wool fresh and suitable for bed again.

And even if you don't stop at night but rather put diapers on your baby and then change them, the sleeping bag is a good way to change a nighttime diaper without much effort. Because it opens quickly and does not require any closures.

Further information

The clothes you put on your baby at night depend primarily on the room temperature and the sleeping situation.
If you prefer a warmer sleeping environment, a thin wool-silk or modal nightgown is sufficient. Even if your baby is close to you and your body heat warms him, this is often enough.

If it is cooler where you are, you can dress your baby in a long-sleeved wool and silk shirt. It can also be bare on the legs or wear a pair of cuffs.

If your baby has a greater need for warmth or sleeps in the extra bed at a distance, you can dress him in a cozy (night) shirt made of pure wool. This is warmer, fluffier and thicker than shirts made from a wool-silk blend and helps maintain a comfortable sleeping environment. Your baby can wear wool cuffs or wool trousers on his legs. Pants made of finer knit or cashmere wool are particularly suitable.
The little feet can still be naked, because your baby regulates the heat more through his body and head. So if his feet are cold and dry, you can put a slightly warmer top on him. However, if they are cold and damp, it may be that they are dressed too warmly and are trying to give off excess heat. Then a thinner shirt is often helpful.
