This means the insert doesn't slip when the diaper is opened at the back.
To fit perfectly with the length-adjustable diaper bib, these absorbent pads are made from an extra-absorbent hemp-cotton blend.
It is folded lengthways to the right length for the holding diaper - exactly how you need it.
For extra absorbency, part of the insert can be folded into the main wet zone and thus ensure extra safety, as the insert is then placed in three layers in the barrier diaper.
These wonderfully soft absorbent pads are made from one layer of organic hemp cotton fleece and one layer of organic cotton terry. The hemp fleece can absorb an incredible amount of liquid and holds it well even under pressure. However, hemp absorbs very slowly. That's why the upper layer is made of fine, small looped terry cloth. The organic cotton of the terry cloth absorbs very quickly and passes the moisture on to the hemp fleece underneath, which stores the moisture extremely well.
This insert is very thin in relation to its absorbency and has very little bulk.
Hemp fabrics must be washed well so that they reach their full absorbency.
